Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. We bring that vision to life through our values and culture. Target's distinctive brand love is infused throughout its many physical locations by the Properties teams. We have a direct and positive impact on the real estate, design, construction and maintenance of our stores, distribution centers and headquarters. Are you ready to help strategically grow Target's brand through leading-edge design, development, construction and preservation? Can you effectively balance the efficiencies of a large-design build company with the unique challenges and innovative solutions required by individual sites? Then take your place on one of our properties teams and help us make the most of Target's physical assets, both in the U.S. and overseas. A role in Construction means leading the execution of the new store, remodel, properties, store operations and merchant innovation projects. From large program rollouts to unique special projects, new small-format stores and large-format ground-up construction, you'll support the teams that manage the scope, schedule and budget for all Target construction projects, including adhering to the project timeline, coordinating and overseeing the onsite construction process and turnover. You'll keep all of the players and partners aligned with effective communication between suppliers, contractors, field and properties leadership and project teams. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you'll take the lead as you develop and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules; as well as direct, supervise, and control the construction, fixture installation, and architecture and engineering design milestones for assigned projects or programs to meet established goals and objectives. Using your skills and experience, you will assist with all aspects of the process. By reviewing and analyzing contractor bids, you will make recommendations and approve subcontractor bids, conduct contract negotiations, review and approve changes to the contract and applications for payments, and close out all necessary contracts. You'll conduct cross-functional meetings throughout the lifecycle of a project to monitor the activities and budgets of other departments that affect the project as well as ensuring that project milestones are being met. You will be responsible for project completion within approved budget which includes obtaining, reviewing, and maintaining the budget input from other documents.
