These electronics testing labs feature high-density server racks and automated systems, requiring strong coordination of MEP-heavy infrastructure and cooling solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience managing lab or tech room build-outs, a mechanical background, and the ability to lead fast-paced, high-spec projects with confidence.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of lab construction projects, from planning and design through execution and close-out.
  • Coordinate with client stakeholders, design teams, and contractors to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Oversee installation of high-density server racks, cooling systems, and other MEP-intensive infrastructure.
  • Facilitate weekly site walks and progress meetings to monitor construction activities and resolve field issues.
  • Ensure all work complies with client standards for lab safety, layout, and operational readiness.
  • Support procurement, change management, and cost tracking in collaboration with project controls and cost management teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships for specialized equipment and lab installations.
  • Coordinate with facilities teams to ensure lab infrastructure integrates seamlessly with existing building systems.
  • Support commissioning and turnover of lab spaces, including punch list resolution and documentation.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to internal and client leadership.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking milestones and dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
  • Review and approve submittals, RFIs, and change orders in alignment with project goals and client standards.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Support budgeting and cost control efforts, identifying potential savings and value engineering opportunities.
  • Ensure timely close-out documentation, including O&M manuals, warranties, and final reports.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in construction project management, ideally with lab, R D, or high-tech room build-out experience.
  • Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and specifications related to lab infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and cooling systems used in high-density equipment environments.
  • Experience managing MEP-heavy projects and coordinating technical infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with electronics labs, dry labs, or device testing environments.
  • Experience working with large tech clients or in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and local building codes in the Bay Area.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Experience supporting commissioning and turnover of technical spaces.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Flexible working environment that respects work-life balance.
  • Equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
