About The Position

This role serves as the primary interface between Comcast Business Services and the National Construction Network Implementation team requiring a blend of strong project management skills, technical knowledge of construction and Business Services offerings, and excellent leadership abilities to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations. The successful candidate will drive projects from inception to completion, communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management regularly, managing expectations and ensuring transparency.

Requirements

  • Prior Comcast experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the Commercial Business Services and Construction field
  • Comprehensive understanding of local, state and federal laws as they apply to the construction industry
  • Strong Financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Experience with data platform technologies (P2, CCOM, Smartsheet's)
  • Experience leading multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical and business plans that align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable value
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and rapport with stakeholders across both business & technology at various levels of the company through strong emotional intelligence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

  • Understands the scope of construction projects and programs as defined by the business requirements and budget process.
  • Participates in key planning milestones.
  • Identifies, confirms and obtains participation from required cross-functional teams.
  • Works with the Technology and Product Development group and the Regional Operations group to do this effectively.
  • Builds program plans and maintains program records.
  • Identifies and manages the program critical path, being mindful of upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Facilitates the development and implementation of key milestones, objectives and success criteria for construction programs with key stakeholders and core team.
  • Analyzes areas of risk to avoid risky activities by identifying and managing critical paths and risk areas.
  • Establishes contingency plans and identifies trigger events and assumes responsibility for initiating corrective actions.
  • Works with leadership and core team members to help identify and assist in making program tradeoffs to balance scope, time and costs.
  • Ensures proper documentation and close out of all construction projects.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
