Requirements

• 18 or more months of construction project inspection experience.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician- Grade I certification or willingness to obtain.
• ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level I certification or TN Aggregate Level I certification or willingness to obtain.
• Completion of TDOT Flexible Pavement Test, TDOT Traffic Work Zone Test, and TDOT Commercially Useful Function (CUF) Training.
• NICET Level II in Highway Construction Inspection Certification or an Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management Degree or similar technical degrees.
• Familiarity with TDOT inspection procedures and ability to prepare reports using Excel, TDOT Mobile Inspector, GoFormz, and Sitemanger, or other project management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rethinking and rebuilding our transportation infrastructure.
• Providing vision to create a pathway for success in infrastructure challenges.
• Consulting and planning for environmental analysis, engineering, and construction.
• Joining the Construction Engineering and Inspection Practice in Nashville, TN and other locations in Tennessee.
• Conducting Highway/Roadway Construction Inspection.
• Performing Bridge and Structures Inspection.
