About The Position

The Senior Construction Inspector will be a key member of HDR's Florida CCC team, primarily working on FDOT projects in Orlando. This role involves independent oversight of various construction activities including milling, resurfacing, bridge construction, and signalization. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant highway/roadway or bridge inspection experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school or Associate's degree.
• 10 years of relevant inspection experience.
• Ability to interpret construction schedules.
• Local candidates are strongly preferred.
• Industry certifications such as CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level 1, CTQP Asphalt Roadway Levels I, and others.

Responsibilities

• Independently inspect FDOT projects including milling and resurfacing, bridge construction, and signalization.
• Interact daily with FDOT Project Administrators and personnel.
• Prepare final estimates for construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during construction operations.
