With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. We are seeking a Configuration Analyst that can work independently.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Configuration Management experience required.
  • 10+ yrs of industry experience.
  • Must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • BA/BS or equivalent yrs exp.

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL V4 Foundation or possess equivalent higher certifications.
  • Experience supporting multinational customers preferred.
  • Utilizing Tableau, JIRA, ServiceNow, Access or other tools used to manage and control daily work and process improvement initiatives.
  • Using Pivot tables in Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Provides configuration management support to assigned projects.
  • Manages the local Definitive Media Library (DML) and processes requests to change the authorized product list (APL).
  • Processes service request and change request tickets using ServiceNow or similar ticketing tool.
  • Provides guidance and work leadership to configuration team members.
  • Completes monthly Configuration Management audits.
  • Builds and designs dashboards and reports in response to customer for information (RFIs) using Excel, Access, Tableau and ServiceNow.
  • Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations, and system updates.
  • Updates existing configuration databases.
  • Develops configuration and data management documentation based on program requirements.
  • Identifies requirements and coordinates the development and implementation of computer-based configuration/data management systems and related support activities.
  • Provides guidance and training to managers, site leads, engineers, systems, and network administrators regarding configuration management procedures.
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge of ITIL principles, methods, techniques, and best practices to configuration management.
  • Serves as local Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Configuration Management, Baseline Management for supporting external requests, data calls, and Contract Deliverables (CDRL) reporting to the Program Office.
  • Ensure all internal configuration management processes and procedures have been followed.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Supports the Coalition Integration Lab (CIL) and provides Configuration Management guidance and training and project support.
  • Serves as the Point of Contact (POC) for assigning Site Codes.
