About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Configuration Management / Data Management Analyst to support the DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering & Integration (S3I) Directorate. The selected candidate will serve as a key technical specialist responsible for configuration and data management of classified and unclassified software, technical documentation, and engineering artifacts in accordance with DoD and Army regulations. This position requires independent judgment, subject matter expertise in classified data handling, and direct involvement in compliance inspections and audit readiness activities.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (additional years of experience may substitute for degree).
  • 8+ years of experience in configuration management, data management, or technical documentation support within a DoD environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working in classified environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of: Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) principles. DoD security regulations and classified material handling. Compliance inspections and audit processes.
  • Experience supporting Army or DoD aviation, missile, or R&D programs.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in regulated environments.
  • SECERT Clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
  • All work performed at customer site.

Nice To Haves

  • 15+ years of CM/DM experience supporting DEVCOM, AMCOM, or similar organizations.
  • Prior experience serving as a CM/DM SME.
  • Familiarity with automated digital cataloging or configuration tracking systems.
  • Proven record of successful audit and inspection support with no major findings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a centralized Configuration and Data Management (CADM) repository supporting multiple S3I projects.
  • Perform configuration control, filing, cataloging, retrieval, and baselining of: Software products. Technical documentation. Engineering drawings.
  • Input, maintain, and validate data within automated digital cataloging systems.
  • Review documentation for compliance with: DoD and Army security regulations. Classified Automated Data Processing (ADP) requirements.
  • Support and lead internal and external compliance inspections, ensuring audit readiness with no major findings.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for classified documentation storage, handling, and control procedures.
  • Manage classified material storage, including: Classified safe maintenance. Combination changes. Daily security checks.
  • Verify personnel clearance levels and manage access and courier authorization for classified materials.
  • Provide software duplication and distribution support for fielded software products.
  • Coordinate with government personnel, security offices, and program stakeholders to ensure compliance with configuration and data management policies.
