The Senior Computer Operator position resides on the Computer Operations team in the Bureau of Operations Services within the Chief Information Office. The role involves operating print and post print processing equipment that produces output from various jobs submitted throughout the day. Responsibilities include loading, aligning, and configuring print output, complying with post print processing instructions, and communicating with customers regarding the status of their print requests. The operator will also conduct quality control on printed checks, transport approved checks to the mail center, and assist mail center staff with sorting and distribution. Adherence to security procedures regarding the storage and transportation of secure stock is essential.
