About The Position

The Compliance Manager role will report to the Sr. Director, Compliance Operations and will be instrumental in ensuring that the Compliance function's several operations are successfully carried out and, where necessary, enhanced. The person in this role will manage key compliance programs, including but not limited to advisory operations to support business initiatives, training, third party due diligence, monitoring and risk, state and federal transparency reporting, and overall management of the Compliance Team's operational objectives. This person will also be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements in effectiveness and efficiency of compliance function operations. Essential Functions: Partner collaboratively across business functions to manage and provide oversight for initiatives related to sales and sales operations, marketing, market access, and medical affairs to ensure processes, operations, and deliverables comply with Amneal's Code of Conduct and its policies and procedures, as well as with industry codes and U.S. and global laws and regulations. Be an instrumental member of compliance policy rollout implementation teams, including delivery of training and technical and logistical support for functions operating under these policies. Work with senior level U.S. and global business partners at the early stages of marketing and sales-related concept discussions to proactively uncover, review, and mitigate compliance-related risks. Provide strategic advice to sales and marketing leadership teams and deliver necessary training to ensure compliance is embedded in discussions and decisions at all levels of the organization. Responsible for monitoring sales and marketing activities including, but not limited to, sponsorships, exhibits, and conferences, after verifying they are in compliance with government regulations and in line with Amneal's overall strategy. Monitor national and international healthcare landscapes and other same-industry companies' compliance-related processes and procedures and propose improvements to senior leadership, where necessary and appropriate Foster and encourage a trusted relationship between the Compliance Department and the rest of the organization's business functions to promote a positive compliance culture in the organization. Lead the day-to-day management of the FTC order, which requires periodic collaboration and communication with senior level U.S. business partners Project manage Compliance Team projects. Conduct monitoring activities based on Amneal's monitoring plans. Partner with relevant high-level stakeholders to review, analyze, report, and deliver appropriate next steps to ensure activities in the field are being conducted in compliance with Amneal's policies and procedures, as well as with relevant government regulations. Oversee and manage all aspects of the Compliance Team's reporting requirements relating to the Federal Physician Payments Sunshine Act, state and municipal transparency, and employee licensing and registration laws Create, update, and deliver the new hire Transparency HCP Training to the relevant departments within Amneal. In conjunction with all members of the Compliance Department, prepare for Compliance and Audit Committees, as well as Board of Directors Meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Business - Required
  • 12 years or more in Relevant pharmaceutical or healthcare experience
  • 12 years or more in Experience in ethics and compliance programs
  • Familiar with the 7 elements of an effective compliance program
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to pharmaceutical industry, including OIG regulatory guidance, PhRMA, and FDA regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and knowledge of business analytics and reporting
