About the position

Emory Healthcare, Office of Compliance seeks a Senior Compliance Analyst who will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, implementation, and the driving of operational effectiveness and efficiency of Emory Healthcare's compliance program. The Senior Compliance Analyst will manage and execute compliance initiatives across the entire health system, to include but not limited to conflict of interest (COI) program, documentation standards, compliance reporting, compliance trends analysis, policies and procedure management, and compliance system management and integrations. This individual will assist Compliance and Privacy Program Manager in ongoing management of compliance matters, monitor, assess, and prioritize key compliance risk areas, and proactively work to identify major enterprise-wide compliance risks. They will conduct audits of compliance-related matters, summarize results, conduct periodic reviews, implement and manage compliance program scope, respond to compliance issues, assist with investigations, and develop training for staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Compliance and Privacy Program Manager in ongoing management of compliance matters.
  • Monitor, assess, and prioritize key compliance risk areas.
  • Conduct audits of compliance-related matters and areas of risk.
  • Summarize results of audits and make recommendations to Compliance Audit Manager.
  • Conduct periodic reviews related to applicable healthcare compliance regulations.
  • Direct and oversee compliance reviews and risk assessments.
  • Implement and manage EHC's compliance program scope of work.
  • Update scope of work based on risk and priority assessment.
  • Respond to and investigate compliance-related issues reported via the Emory Trust Line.
  • Assist with compliance investigations on alleged violations.
  • Assist with the development of curriculum and conduct training for hospital staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a healthcare organization.
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of healthcare compliance related experience.
  • Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or related academic certification required.
