About The Position

Auto State Management is hiring for its Compliance analyst team. This is a range posting. Level of position offered will be based on skills and experience at manager discretion. Under limited supervision, performs moderate to complex compliance research and regulatory analysis in order to achieve business objectives in a compliant manner in assigned states or product line. May oversee projects that require greater expertise, typically for states with higher volume and/or regulatory scrutiny. Makes recommendations for improvements. Thought partner with Director of State Operations (DSO) and other State Management team members for their assigned region. Lead moderate to high complexity projects to ensure the company stays compliant with statutes and regulations. Provide clear measures of success, ensure stakeholders are informed and deadlines are met. Be an expert and answer compliance related inquiries for your assigned states and/or areas of expertise. For complex regulatory states, conduct and document research for countrywide programs rollouts. Use various resources to conduct compliance research, to compile information, to assess whether current approaches are compliant and to document learnings. Assist in developing the handling strategy for escalated items and various regulator interactions. Monitor proposed and enacted legislation and regulation, identify business impacts and work with stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcome for the company. Drives risk mitigation through the support of issues management and promotion of controls. Identify and execute process improvement opportunities. If the need arises, lead, mentor and assist new personnel to the Department.
