About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Compensation & Stock Analyst focusing on administering our compensation and equity plans and partnering with HR and business leaders to help ensure Clover ongoing competitiveness of our total rewards within the market. This role reports to our Sr. Director of Total Rewards and will help effectively design, execute and educate on a variety of rewards programs to ensure employees are informed, valued and motivated. As a Senior Compensation & Stock Analyst, you will: Administer compensation structure and job architecture, providing expert guidance, execution, and education. Partner with HRBPs, recruiters, and managers to develop and implement targeted compensation solutions. Lead planning and execution of the annual compensation cycle using the Pave compensation tool. Lead calculation and processing of annual bonus payments. Provide analysis and support for merit and bonus budgeting. Support annual and off-cycle equity grant processes. Provide compensation guidance for promotions, retentions, and ad-hoc adjustments. Conduct benchmarking and research, including salary survey participation, market pricing, and compensation software implementation. Assist the Sr. Director of Total Rewards with U.S. and international equity plan administration (options, RSUs, PSUs). Serve as primary liaison with external providers and internal partners (transfer agents, brokers, SOX auditors, Legal, Payroll, Finance, Tax), delivering high-quality service on compensation and equity inquiries. Prepare ETrade reports and perform reconciliations to ensure accurate equity data and proper payroll taxation. Administer ESPP enrollment events, maintain documentation, manage audits and reporting, and resolve data and employee issues. Identify opportunities to use AI to improve efficiency across compensation processes. Support development and maintenance of compensation policies, processes, education, and compliance. Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Participate in or lead other projects as needed and opportunities arise Success in this role looks like : High-Quality Equity Administration and Data Integrity: Ensures all equity transactions (RSU/PSU/options, ESPP, releases) are executed with 100% regulatory, tax, and reporting compliance, while maintaining full audit readiness through accurate, variance-free reconciliations between ETrade, payroll, and internal systems. Effective Compensation Consultation and Market Competitiveness : Builds manager and HRBP confidence through timely (3–5 day SLA) and well-informed compensation guidance—including market pricing and job architecture support—resulting in significantly improved decision-making satisfaction scores (15–20%+ increase) and consistently competitive total rewards outcomes. Strong Cross-Functional and Stakeholder Partnership: Serves as a trusted partner to Legal, Payroll, Finance, and external equity vendors to ensure smooth audits and high stakeholder satisfaction, while resolving employee compensation and equity inquiries with high accuracy and sub-48-hour response times to build clarity and trust in total rewards programs. Accurate, Timely, and Compliant Execution of Compensation Cycles: Delivers all annual compensation processes (merit, bonus, equity refresh) on schedule with 99%+ data accuracy, minimal rework, and excellent partner feedback, including error-free bonus calculations and audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of relevant compensation experience (equity experience preferred).
  • You have experience with stock administration and HRIS platforms (ie., ETrade, ADP Workforce Now)
  • You have proven experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • You have strong experience with equity administration (options, restricted shares, performance shares, etc) and its regulatory compliance requirements
  • You have advanced level experience in Excel
  • You are proficient in Google Suite (preferred)
