We are looking for a Sr. Manager to join our Compensation team and play a critical role in both the day-to-day operations and strategic design of compensation programs across Liftoff. This is a highly visible, hands-on role suited for a technically strong, self-sufficient compensation manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively partner with senior leadership while also leading and developing a team of compensation professionals. You will bring expertise in both cash compensation and equity strategy, with a strong analytical foundation and a passion for operational excellence. Experience in adtech or a high-growth, tech-forward company is a plus.

  • Own and manage the day-to-day operations of compensation programs, including job architecture, pay bands, benchmarking, salary structures, and internal leveling across all functions.
  • Serve as the internal expert on equity plan design and analytics; ensure alignment with finance and legal teams.
  • Conduct complex compensation analyses, build scalable compensation models, and provide data-driven recommendations that influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR, Finance, and business leaders, including delivering clear, concise communications of compensation philosophy, program design, and policy decisions.
  • Develop and refine compensation strategies, processes, and systems that align with company goals and market competitiveness across base salary, bonus structures, and equity incentives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing and agile compensation team, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Independently manage and deliver compensation initiatives such as annual compensation planning, job leveling projects, and compensation reviews for M&A or reorg scenarios.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, ideally in a global and high-growth environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and own end-to-end execution of compensation workstreams.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities and strong Excel/modeling skills; comfort with large datasets and building scalable tools.
  • Deep familiarity with equity compensation structures and modeling across both private equity backed and public companies.
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally with senior stakeholders, including C-level leaders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to simplify and present complex compensation concepts to a broad audience.
  • Experience in high growth tech industries is a strong plus.
  • Equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence.
  • Competitive salaries, equity, and benefits designed to support employee well-being and performance.
  • Wellness stipends and additional perks based on your country of residence.
