About The Position

Fairview is looking for a Senior Compensation Consultant for a temporary, 2yr commitment position. The Senior Compensation Consultant is responsible for designing, maintaining, and administering compensation programs aimed at attracting and retaining world-class talent in a competitive environment. This individual will partner with HR Business Partners and leadership to provide consultative services on all compensation topics and ensure that compensation and total rewards programs are aligned with the business and talent strategies. This position is temporary backfill to for current staff to work on a new implementation. The estimated temporary end date will be spring 2028.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Finance or Combination Education & Experience
  • 8 years Compensation Experience
  • Broad knowledge of several areas of Human Resources
  • Experience working in a multi-union environment
  • Ability to implement new programs and manage projects
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Proven ability to partner with others outside of area including business partners in human resources and others such as leaders, finance, and IT
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Master of Arts in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Finance
  • Certified Compensation Professional
  • Human Resources and Compensation experience in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic consultation to HR Business Partners and leaders on compensation-related matters
  • Conducts job evaluations to ensure jobs are graded appropriately, considering external market analysis, internal equity, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversees system-wide pay grade structures, including development of annual market movement recommendations
  • Collaborates with leaders and finance to design, administer, calculate, and communicate incentive plans
  • Analyzes compensation program effectiveness and make recommendations for continuous improvements
