The Senior Community Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and training of the probationary Community Managers assigned to his/her team, working directly with the Director of Community Management, Association Boards and Committees of the assigned communities in accordance with the Governing Documents of these Associations and the policies of Terra West Management Services. Demonstrate a more advanced level of management in absence of a director on-site. This position will also serve as the direct management entity for assigned communities and is subject to the duties and responsibilities outlined in the standard Community Manager Job Description.

  • Monitor assigned staff to ensure that performance “deliverables” are provided in a timely manner and staff work is completed in conformance with departmental policies and procedures. Review staffs’ work as needed to maintain quality standards.
  • As assigned, train Provisional Community Managers to conform to Terra West standards and best industry practices. Attend Board Meetings and act as a coach and mentor to Provisional Community Managers.
  • Act as an Advisor to the Director of Community Management regarding employee progress, client status, and recommend portfolio adjustments when necessary. Ensure that management team receive performance feedback on a regular basis, including surveying the clients for quality assurance and feedback.
  • Act as Community Manager when current Provisional Community Managers are out sick or on leave.
  • Resolve issues and handle all escalated calls from communities within the Provisional Community Managers’/CAM’s portfolios in a timely manner. Escalate issues up to the Director of Community Management when necessary.
  • Manage portfolio of assigned properties in accordance with NRS 116 and all Federal, State, and local laws.
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information and employee issues confidential.
  • Participate in industry and company events and contribute to the company culture in a positive manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum seven years’ experience as Manager of multiple community associations.
  • Supervising Community Association Manager (SUPRCAM) license required.
  • Must possess vehicle with insurance and valid registration.
  • Valid driver’s license.
