About The Position

Superior is looking for a Senior QA/CX Commissioning Engineer to join our Engineering team. They will be responsible for producing all aspects of engineering commissioning and quality assurance deliverables. This role will be based on a jobsite in Indianapolis, IN.

Requirements

  • You have earned your Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least 10 years of professional services experience working in electrical engineering
  • You have experience in the design, construction, and installation of building electrical systems
  • You have experience in quality control, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
  • You have experience with NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70E and other applicable codes and standards

Nice To Haves

  • You have project experience in the healthcare, industrial, or commercial sector
  • You have experience in commissioning management software, such as BIM360, CxAlloy, Latista, or Procore

Responsibilities

  • Creates energization and electrical performance methods and procedures
  • Professional support for energization
  • Professional support for quality assurance and commissioning efforts at project sites
  • Walk the jobsite and provide observations to the Field Operations teams where there are deviations from the project drawings
  • Collaborate with product manufacturers, distributors, repair, and testing companies
  • Interface with owners and construction managers to cover technical questions and remediate issues
  • Identify and produce business case design enhancement studies
