About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Commercial Operations Analyst to join our Commercial Operations & Strategy team in our growing Peripheral Interventions division, which leads the market in less-invasive treatments for peripheral vascular disease and cancer. As a Senior Commercial Operations Analyst, you will be within the high impact, fast-paced Selling organization converting data into meaningful information to guide business decision making. This role is an integral part of the business team administering expense management and sales incentive compensation.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years of related work experience in Sales Strategy/Operations, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Strong math skills with the ability to solve complex problems using a logic-based approach.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and impacts on budgets.
  • Previous experience with expense management, FP&A and SAP.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to pull information from various systems to explain budget variances.
  • Excellent strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure deliverables.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, intermediate Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize own work, and adhere to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage various inputs of compensation for our field sales force to process payroll accurately and efficiently bi-weekly.
  • Own alignments for sales force, ensuring accuracy and offering ways to be more efficient with work.
  • Collaborate across different franchises in the department to ensure goals are being met.
  • Carry out system changes due to promotions.
  • Combine data from multiple sources into integrated views to drive financial analysis and decision making.
  • Contribute to the annual financial forecasting process by examining YTD results and recommending changes as needed.
  • Become an expert on data sources, ensuring data accuracy when using them.
  • Perform performance and compensation analytics to inform budget decisions.
  • Create elegant and user-friendly tools and reports for tracking expenses in Selling organization.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and establish effective and efficient processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and other functions/divisions to get tasks done and build cross functional relationship.
  • Demonstrate team-first mindset while leveraging individual skills to work independently, problem solve and move toward timely project completion.
  • Develop skills with business intelligence applications such as Tableau, Anaplan, Alteryx, SAP BusinessObjects.
  • Participate in special projects as they arise.
