The Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager will lead meetings with clients, including meetings at client locations, and is responsible for providing comprehensive client support, acting as the main client contact for their book of business. This role involves effectively managing difficult client communications, negotiating and selling lines of insurance, owning audit, review, and claims processes, and analyzing data to draft client service plans and reports. The position also requires developing and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carrier personnel, being proficient in underwriting practices, and staying fluent in client industry and current events. Furthermore, the Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager will mentor junior team members, facilitate renewal strategies, provide insurance coverage reviews, identify coverage gaps, and attend carrier functions to learn new options.
