About The Position

The HVAC Installation Technician is responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role ensures that HVAC systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company standards while delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC installation experience [Residential and/or Commercial]
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
HVAC Certification [Technical school certification preferred]
Valid Driver’s License with ability to pass company’s MVR requirements
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly and adhere to all safety guidelines
Familiarity with building codes, HVAC equipment manufacturers, and industry standards

Nice To Haves

EPA Certification a plus

Responsibilities

Install HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, rooftop units (RTUs), and mini-splits
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to plan and execute installations
Assemble, mount, and secure HVAC components, ensuring proper alignment and operation
Connect electrical wiring, piping, ducting, and refrigerant lines according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
Test installed systems for proper operation, efficiency, and safety
Diagnose and troubleshoot installation issues, and adjust as needed
Ensure all work areas are clean and safe during and after installations
Communicate clearly with customers regarding system operation, maintenance, and warranty information
Collaborate with team members, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate project completion
Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working order
