About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our Commercial Strategy & Excellence team. In this position, you will help build and maintain critical digital enablement platforms that support internal functions such as Finance, Marketing, and Operations, as well as the entire Field Sales Organization. You will be responsible for delivering impactful analytics, creating sales enablement tools, shaping resource deployment strategies, and helping the field address business challenges through timely insights. This role requires collaboration with internal teams, including Sales Support, Marketing, Finance, and Information Systems (IS), and a strong working knowledge of Boston Scientific’s sales tools and resources. Work model, sponsorship, relocation: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with SQL programming, VBA programming, Python programming, or similar.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting commercial operations or a related function.
  • Expert-level experience with back-office applications, including Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the medical device industry supporting a field sales organization.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage highly confidential work.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities under strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective support to the local team by responding to requests in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analytical support as needed.
  • Utilize reporting tools and technologies to provide intuitive, actionable analyses to the field.
  • Develop new reporting tools and technology across all supported functions.
  • Identify division-level opportunities by monitoring trends, performance metrics, and relevant external data.
  • Produce customized business reviews that incorporate market conditions and regional challenges.
  • Collaborate with the product owner team to develop and roll out new Salesforce functionality.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all individuals to contribute to their full potential.
  • Apply project management skills to coordinate successful delivery of key outputs.
  • Participate in strategic projects as assigned.
