About The Position

The Senior Commercial Contracts Specialist at Spectrum Enterprise is responsible for supporting the commercial sales team and operating units in managing service agreements with commercial customers. This role involves overseeing the development, auditing, validation, implementation, and maintenance of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with company guidelines while interfacing with various levels of the organization and corporate legal.

Requirements

  • Three or more years' experience with contract negotiations, drafting, and review.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent industry or contract experience.
  • Knowledge of business contracts construction, reviewing, and drafting.
  • Ability to interact proficiently with peers, clients, and other professionals.
  • Ability to initiate and bring closure to negotiations at an executive level.
  • Ability to exercise accurate business judgment.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of company employees, vendors, customers, and prospective customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Three or more years' experience with regulatory issues in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

  • Review commercial contract issues escalated to Contracts Management and Legal Operations.
  • Prepare responses to customer requested changes to terms of service, NDAs, and contractual inquiries.
  • Review commercial customer documents submitted for Charter's completion and/or signature.
  • Negotiate terms of service with commercial customers while adhering to Charter's policies and mitigating risk.
  • Conduct reviews of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and assist in preparing Charter's responses.
  • Prepare and review customer communications related to contracts and services, including non-standard proposals and letters.
  • Advise on financial analysis for items such as IRR Models, budget preparation, and forecasting.
  • Create a permanent file cover form and process for large business new 'non-standard' contracts to ensure timely dissemination of key contract terms to internal departments.
  • Provide general assistance to management and field personnel, including coaching and training to ensure contract process compliance.
