About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst, Commercial Analytics plays a critical role in advancing analytics capabilities that drive revenue growth, forecast accuracy, pricing performance, and operational efficiency. This position owns key performance reporting frameworks and delivers actionable, data-driven insights that inform commercial strategy and executive decision-making. The role partners closely with Sales, Commercial Analytics, Market Intelligence, Operations, and Finance leadership to standardize metrics, improve data visibility, and reduce manual reporting burdens across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling expertise with advanced data fluency and a bias toward automation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or related field — or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in analytics-driven environments.
  • Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Solid financial analysis foundation, including building forecasts, models, and performance insights.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and centralized data environments; ability to navigate data lakes and understand table structures, joins, and data lineage.
  • SQL proficiency or strong aptitude to write, interpret, and troubleshoot queries to validate data, build extracts, and analyze large datasets.
  • Experience working with BI, reporting, or analytics tools (e.g., Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Adaptive Insights, Workday).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including modeling, automation, and data transformation.
  • Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions, automate manual work, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to identify drivers, close data gaps, and apply sound logic.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and analyze processes to recommend enhancements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data findings into clear business insights.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding internal customer service to Sales, Operations, Finance, and Executive teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build dynamic dashboards and self-service reports in Sigma Computing, as well as other visualization tools
  • Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and tools to ensure they evolve with business needs.
  • Create intuitive visualizations that clearly communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and actionable insights.
  • Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support.
  • Improve financial margins by proactively analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
  • Create executive dashboards and reports that show how we are tracking against our pricing goals.
  • Help drive system and process improvements that better accomplish the above.
