About The Position

The Senior Commercial Account Executive II is responsible for overseeing and directing the Client Insurance Program for assigned accounts, utilizing the agency management system. This role generally manages larger and more complex accounts than the Senior Account Executive and is involved in high-level conversations with accounts and vendors, with or without the Producer's involvement. The position requires an experienced professional with a strong track record, and duties include acting as a primary point of contact with the Producer, initiating correspondence with the marketplace, and functioning as a principal contact with vendors to ensure proper processing of requests necessary to effectively maintain the client's insurance program. The role also involves maintaining positive client relationships, managing accounts receivables, and ensuring various tasks are accomplished through delegation to Account Managers or external resources. The Senior Commercial Account Executive II is expected to demonstrate strong consultative abilities, manage deadlines, and proactively make recommendations for additional products and services to meet client needs.

Requirements

  • Licensed: Texas P&C Agent.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of Sr. Account Executive experience preferred.
  • At least 15 years of Commercial Account Executive experience preferred.
  • CIC & CRM, or CPCU required.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed objectives through effective delegation and account management.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to speak professionally in front of others.
  • Ability to interact with and support employees in various roles.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the Client Insurance Program for assigned accounts.
  • Manage larger and more complex accounts than the Sr. Account Executive.
  • Act as a primary point of contact with the Producer.
  • Initiate correspondence with the marketplace.
  • Function as a principal contact with vendors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships.
  • Manage Accounts Receivables and Direct Billing.
  • Create Acord applications and complete COPE spreadsheets.
  • Prepare Loss Summaries and proposals for renewal terms.
  • Issue Acord Insurance Binders for renewal terms.
  • Prepare policies for delivery to clients.
  • Process Policy Audits and Monthly Reports.
  • Identify and resolve Accounting discrepancies.
  • Delegate and manage tasks given to the Account Executive or Manager.
  • Provide direction and guidance to other team members.
  • Negotiate with carriers on cost and program design.
  • Coordinate, present, and attend client meetings.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in maintaining the Client Insurance Program.
