About The Position | The PEOPLE Commerce team is seeking a Senior Editor to edit our shopping content, which covers the latest celebrity trends, must-have products, and major shopping events such as Black Friday and Prime Day. In this role, the Senior Editor will manage team members, oversee daily editing on tight deadlines, and play a key role in shaping strategy by analyzing performance data and applying insights. The editor will also use a range of editorial and commerce tools to help grow the business and evolve our content approach. This role will report into our Associate Editorial Director. Our Shopping team brings that same authority to commerce coverage, combining in-house expertise with insights from a wide network of trusted professionals, including fashion stylists, makeup artists, professional organizers, and other industry experts, to help guide our product recommendations. We’re a highly collaborative group that moves quickly when it matters, whether that’s jumping on a breakout Taylor Swift trend, identifying the next must-have product, or executing coverage around major shopping moments and holidays. We’re looking for a Senior Editor who is always thinking about what’s next and best for our readers, communicates clearly, helps optimize workflows and output, and brings a strong team-first mindset.
