CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Command and Control (C2) Network Systems Engineer to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in Huntsville, AL. The selected individual will provide engineering support onsite full-time to meet client requirements for an Army hypersonic rocket and missile program at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

  • Serve as a C2 Network Systems Engineer for the Program Executive Office - Missiles and Space Mid-Range Capability Project Office (MRCPO), which is responsible for the development, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army's Mid-Range Capability (MRC) missile system.
  • Advise MRCPO in the design, development, fielding, and modernization of the Battery Operation Center (BOC) as part of the Army Mid-Range Capability.
  • Assist with the systems architecture and federated integration of the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), Aegis Weapon System (AWS), the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), and the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) in the MRC Battery Operations Center.
  • BS in Science or Engineering
  • 10 years experience in system engineering
  • 3 of those 10 years should be experience in systems engineering for a DoD weapons system acquisition program office or OEM
  • Experience in network/IP configurations management
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Experience with technical missile system fire direction and power systems development
  • Experience with Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), Aegis Weapon System (AWS), the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), and the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS)
  • Experience with fielded DoD internet terminal systems (Starlink, SIPR/NIPR Access Point (SNAP), T2Network Systems)
  • Knowledge of system interface requirements and requirements management as well as techniques to drive system behaviors
