About The Position

The Senior Collibra Developer role at Ankura involves configuring and deploying the Collibra data catalog system, managing metadata, developing custom workflows, and ensuring accurate data classification and technical lineage for clients. This position is part of the Data & Technology Practice, which focuses on delivering innovative solutions in data analytics and strategy.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or similar
• 6-10 years of Collibra experience
• Experience with onboarding assets in Collibra, reverse engineering database schemas, creating data dictionaries and ACTIVITI workflow process
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Spring Boot
• Deep understanding of data governance principles, practices, and frameworks
• Experience in data management, including data classification, data quality, and data modeling
• Expertise in integrating Collibra with other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Collibra and other enterprise systems using APIs
• Develop and implement data management strategies, including metadata management, to ensure the integrity, availability, and quality of organizational data assets
• Collaborate with the data governance team to refine requirements and implement best practices
• Ensure effective data lineage and workflow definitions
• Utilize Java and Spring Boot to write code
• Capture and document use cases
• Implement data classification frameworks to organize and categorize data assets based on sensitivity and importance.
