About The Position

Client Agency is the Defense Logistics Agency.
Focuses on the application of cognitive science to enable artificial intelligence with enterprise business applications.
Designs approaches for learning representations from textual data to enhance information discovery and improve human decision making.
Leads research and development efforts in the areas of training design, competency modeling, and cognitive metrics.
Applies research to the identification of cognitive training requirements, the design of cognitive skills training programs, the development of metrics for cognitive performance, and the development of competency models.

Requirements

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
• Five (5) years relevant experience.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering.
• Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, Natural Language Processing, knowledge discovery and data mining, unstructured data analytics.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Processing, text understanding, classification, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, ranking systems or similar.
• Experience with one or more programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, or Python.
