About The Position

As a Senior CNC Programmer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in advancing our machining capabilities by developing and optimizing CNC programs for complex components. Your expertise in programming G Code, utilizing CMM, and operating 5 Axis Machines will be essential in ensuring precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. You will report directly to our Manufacturing Manager, and you'll work out of our Columbus, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall productivity and quality of our machining operations, driving improvements that enhance our ability to meet customer demands and maintain high standards of excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC programmer with a focus on 5 Axis Machines.
  • Strong knowledge of G Code programming and its applications in CNC machining.
  • Experience with CMM and probe operations for quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in Gibbs Cam software for CNC programming and simulation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.

Responsibilities
