The primary focus of this position is the specialized machining of complex and challenging components for ARL:UT research Lab. The ability to create high quality, close tolerance components in challenging materials autonomously is the primary concern for the qualified candidate. This position involves a primary role of CNC machining, demanding extensive experience and mastery in producing machined components. Additionally, complete expertise in the area of fixture design, creation, and programming using modern CAD/CAM software with the ability to adapt and grow with ever advancing technologies is critical. This combination of intricate CNC machining, and advanced CAD/CAM utilization will be used to ensure continuing operational efficiency, growth and technical excellence in our machine shop setting at Applied Research Labs facilities.
