Summary of Responsibility: As a Field Service Technician you will be handling the repair and maintenance of Tsugami machine tool equipment, controls and other related components purchased by our customers. This position works on site at our various customer facilities in New England, to provide the highest level of quality and customer service satisfaction. What You Will Contribute: Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all machine tool equipment and controls for customer organizations. Identify areas for performance improvement on equipment; perform and promote preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment. Detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components. Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues. Successfully communicate machine issues, status of install or status of machine repair to customer. Ensure accurate documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer (i.e. service report, install report). Make certain that customer commitments are performed as planned to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain partner relationships with our suppliers and vendors. Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay apprised of new developments in the field. Maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company. Stay up to date on vendor products, new technology and implements as appropriate. Salary Range: $67,000 - $94,000 DOE + Overtime Other Functions: Perform related duties as required.
