The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will lead the detection, response, and remediation functions for Microsoft Azure Cloud at Bath and Body Works (BBW). This role is a critical operational component of our overall security program, serving as the bridge between technical detection and enterprise remediation. You will work with the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) team to communicate and sometimes translate these technical requirements into actionable assignments for partner teams. The team structure ensures you can focus on technical execution while GRC handles the governance and cross-departmental coordination required to successfully implement fixes across the organization.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years' experience with at least 5 years supporting CSIRT or SOC.
  • Expertise in writing high fidelity alerts, using KQL.
  • Proficient in security and detection controls pertinent to Microsoft Cloud Environment, especially Defender for Cloud and Defender for Cloud Apps.
  • Knowledge of basic cryptography (TLS), common network protocols, edge routing technologies, firewall/IDS/IPS solutions, SIEM, EDR/XDR.
  • Have at least one of the following three cloud security certifications: GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology/Information Security/Computer Science

Responsibilities

  • Implement, monitor, and analyze cloud security systems, such as CSPM, CIAM, APIM etc.
  • Create a complete documentation for any discovered security misconfigurations.
  • Maintain an inventory of cloud resources and third-party integrations.
  • Conduct initial analysis of suspected cloud security incidents, including determining the nature and scope of the incident.
  • Work with third-party vendors to reduce and/or mitigate the malicious.
  • Must be willing to be part of on call rotation.
