About The Position

Senior Cloud Operations Engineer (Eagan, MN) Deliver, support, and maintain our production services in a technical operations environment. About the Role In this opportunity as Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, you will: · Provide operational support and engineering across Shared Capabilities Services and Platforms that utilize Auth0, PingFederate, Twilio, and SparkPost; · Troubleshoot and escalate production issues; monitor production issues until successfully resolved; communicate status of resolutions with the team and stakeholders; · Build and maintain monitoring and alerting for all aspects of our infrastructure and the platform using cloud native solutions; · Serve as the subject matter expert regarding planning and implementing non-functional requirements to ensure the system’s availability, scalability, and performance as well as monitoring, alerting, and efficient incident troubleshooting; · Automate IaC and CI/CD, and promote best practices for our CI/CD processes; · Maintain end-to-end security, ensuring that we meet best practices standards; · Participate on a Scrum team using an Agile work model, which involves collaborating with other Software Engineers, Test Automation Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters; · Guide the implementation process to ensure that all aspects of operability are delivered while ensuring that existing service levels are maintained or improved; · Participate in On-Call/shift rotations; · Keep abreast with emerging cloud technology trends, especially around DevOps. May telecommute part of the week from commuting distance to Eagan, MN per our hybrid work policy. About You You’re a fit for the role of Senior Cloud Operations Engineer if your background includes: A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline followed by 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a cloud operation engineering-related occupation. Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently: · 3 years of experience building and operating cloud-based production services and platforms, including AWS or Azure; · 3 years of experience in automation for CI/CD, including Git, CloudFormation, Terraform, or Jenkins; · 3 years of experience in Unix or Linux; · 3 years of experience implementing observability using Datadog, Splunk, or Nagios; · 2 years of experience working with and supporting Auth0; · 2 years of experience working with and supporting PingFederate; · 2 years of experience working with and supporting Twilio; · 2 years of experience working with and supporting SparkPost. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline followed by 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a cloud operation engineering-related occupation.
