Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Strong experience with: Linux CLI and tools, Bash scripting, Python (3.x) development, NoSQL databases (MongoDB), Containerization (Docker, containers), Kubernetes orchestration, Helm chart development, Git source control, CI/CD principles and GitLab CI, Infrastructure as Code (Ansible)
  • Experience with Rust or a strong aptitude and desire to learn it

Nice To Haves

  • SQL databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, containerized applications
  • Build and maintain secure, high-performance systems in Linux environments
  • Develop automation scripts and backend services using Python (3.x) and Bash
  • Work with modern container platforms including Docker, containers, and Kubernetes
  • Create and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments
  • Integrate messaging systems such as RabbitMQ
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Ansible
  • Collaborate using Git-based workflows and modern DevOps practices
  • Contribute to next-generation development using Rust (experience or strong willingness to learn)
