Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
About The Position
Concept Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Information Technology (AIT) Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Services under the ITIPSS contract vehicle. The position will design, develop, test, implement, document, and maintain SAN, servers, Hyperconverged clusters, and appliance infrastructure. Participate in identifying new solutions and vendors to replace and maintain legacy storage (Azure and AWS based). Research, evaluate, and implement new hardware devices and software applications for data center operations Run reports and health checks using scripting technologies (PowerShell and/or Python) Provide technical support responding to on-call alerts, helpdesk tickets, and customer engagements Provide Systems Administration support for virtualization platforms such as VMware Provide support for network hardware/software, vulnerability, service pack, and security bulletins Provide advisory assistance with CI/CD Pipelines/Git repositories, Active Directory and Azure Entra, and Windows DFS Support the FAA Cloud Solution (FCS) including implementing and administering cloud services Provide support for designing and developing automation and orchestration scripts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, and/or other IT degree (engineering, math, and science related degrees are considered acceptable alternative degrees); eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- FAA Personnel Suitability clearance required (AMS 3.14-2)
Responsibilities
