About your role: We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Cloud expert to join our team in Berkeley Heights, NJ. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, and modern DevOps practices, with a strong understanding of cloud networking and infrastructure automation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise systems engineering experience.
  • 6+ years of scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Terraform, CloudFormation, serverless architecture using AWS Lambda.
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • 3+ years of experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts in AWS (VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, NAT, Route 53).
  • Knowledge of IAM best practices and security configurations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, ECS, EKS).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Configure and manage VPCs, Route 53, and other networking components.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments and testing.
  • Monitor cloud environments using CloudWatch, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Manage and secure cloud resources including IAM roles/policies, RDS, and Lambda functions.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner.
