About The Position

Agile5 Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Developer to design, develop, and implement cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks. This role is crucial for automating cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and supporting a robust, hybrid cloud infrastructure across multiple security enclaves. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in AWS platforms and a proven ability to independently design and enhance cloud software for performance and scalability.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years focused on cloud technologies.
  • Candidates must have a strong understanding of cloud security requirements in government environments and experience with the SAFe Agile framework.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying and be able to pass a polygraph examination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in AWS, GovCloud, SC2S, C2S, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Cloud security, Serverless computing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Python, .NET C#, microservices, API Gateway, Splunk, SAFe Agile, and cost optimization is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to enable PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.
  • Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.
  • Analyze applications and provide recommendations for migration to cloud environments.
  • Provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization of cloud services.
  • Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications.
  • Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for cloud service usage.
  • Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design.
  • Work independently to design and develop new software products and enhance existing cloud software.
  • Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
  • Support a multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret).
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure seamless integration.
