About The Position
The Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer (Data Lake) will oversee and direct efforts to identify information and technology solutions that enable business needs and strategies. This role involves owning and defining DevOps pipelines and release management for data engineering, as well as developing concepts and constructs necessary to create technology-enabled business systems. The engineer will install, configure, automate, monitor, and operationalize various cloud services globally, perform operational engineering for activities including platform upgrades/deployments, monitoring, configuration, recoverability, and system troubleshooting. Additionally, the engineer will provide periodic off-hours on-call support for production and development environments, work closely with a team of architects, engineers, and developers to create functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, and assist with other project deliverables as needed. The position requires designing state-of-the-art technical solutions on Azure that address customer requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
