About The Position

The Senior Cloud Architect at Infosys is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions primarily using Microsoft Azure. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, leading technical teams, and ensuring best practices in cloud architecture and automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation, and container technologies, particularly Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required; will consider relevant work experience in lieu of education.
• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 10 years of experience with Azure IaaS & PaaS services.
• At least 5 years of experience in container technologies and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Services and Kubernetes (AKS, Virtual Machines, Storage, Network).
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role with a focus on Azure.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container platforms (e.g., Docker, OpenShift).
• Good understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Azure and Kubernetes Admin certifications.
• Experience in the Healthcare domain.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define technical solutions and architecture.
• Lead and mentor technical teams in cloud architecture best practices.
• Participate in proof-of-concepts and IaC automation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Support Azure infrastructure and contribute to standard processes in Azure and Kubernetes.
• Architect solutions using container technologies and Kubernetes.
