About The Position

The Senior Cloud Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture patterns, and best practices to drive innovation and optimize cloud environments. The architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, security, and operations to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services. They will also be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, cost management strategies, and compliance standards to maintain robust cloud ecosystems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud computing
• Proven expertise in major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, networking, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Background in data analytics, machine learning, or AI integration within cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and implementation of an eLearning Ecosystem Architecture
• Design and build cloud computing platforms and integrations with internal and external subsystems
• Develop and maintain design drawings and architectural documentation
• Maintain configuration control of systems to ensure proper change management
• Develop and enforce cloud governance policies, security protocols, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable and secure cloud deployments.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption strategies to enhance system performance and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
