About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Architect. In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding customers towards effective cloud solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You will oversee the design and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring it adheres to best practices for scalability and security. Your expertise will contribute directly to the successful deployment of cloud architectures and solutions that meet both immediate and future needs of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in IT, including at least five (5) years of hands-on experience designing and managing cloud-based solutions across major cloud platforms.
• Advanced certification from major cloud service providers, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architectures, cloud computing, and development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud architectures in enterprise settings.
• Execute cloud migration strategies, including rehosting, re-platforming, and refactoring.
• Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or Ansible.
• Define and govern architecture standards and frameworks to support high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.
• Apply best practices in cloud security, compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53), and IAM.
• Manage cost optimization, resource monitoring, and performance tuning for cloud-native services.
• Implement and operate containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate cloud platforms with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for automated provisioning and deployments.
• Lead technical design sessions and collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with mission and organizational objectives.
