About The Position

The Senior Closing Manager at Lennar Mortgage is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the Closing department, ensuring efficient loan closing processes, and developing team members. This position requires collaboration with various departments to maintain compliance and accuracy in loan documentation, while also fostering a positive work environment that aligns with the company's values of diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in an Operations Closing Leadership role.
• 3 to 5 years of funding and processing experience, including conventional and government loans.
• Strong computer skills with experience in mortgage software and proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities and knowledge of title report endorsements.

Nice To Haves

• Bond loan experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of loan closings to meet organizational and borrower goals.
• Develop and mentor Closing Managers to effectively manage their teams and pipelines.
• Monitor loan pipelines to ensure timely closings and accommodate funding volume requirements.
• Interface with Processing, Underwriting, Quality Control, and other departments to ensure correct loan closures.
• Utilize reports and audit systems to manage the accuracy of loan documents and funding processes.
• Assist in preparing complete post-closing packages as required by investors.
• Maintain quality control guidelines in partnership with internal post-closing auditors.
• Ensure compliance with policies for shipping files to meet investor guidelines.
