About The Position

The Senior Clinician plays a critical role in sustaining a strong clinical department that advances the mission of RFK Community Alliance and reflects the values of the RFK Community Alliance Clinical Services Team. A Senior Clinician fosters a cohesive and supportive culture in which staff experience clarity, connection, and high clinical standards. The Senior Clinician provides leadership and oversight of assigned school-based clinical staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services for DFPS students and their families.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years clinical experience
  • Master’s Degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, or related field and eligible for related licensure required

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for involvement in school based therapeutic setting
  • Preference for supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision to clinical staff members, as assigned by the Clinical Director, in accordance with education/licensure/credentials, ethical standards, and agency policies
  • Work in close partnership with Clinical Director and co-leader to align performance standards and outcomes
  • Ensure that all clinician job duties (case management/school counseling/crisis management) are completed per the clinician job role
  • Ensure that clinical documentation follows best practices on eHana and PowerSchool, including incident reports, BASC tables, suicide risk screenings, annual risk assessments, IEP progress reports, Clinical Psychosocial reports, and Discharge Summary reports
  • Provide case coverage when any of their assigned clinical staff members are off campus
  • Participate in program meetings as needed/required which include: pre-enrollment meetings, IEP meetings, building meetings, staff meetings, and team meetings
  • Maintain a reduced student caseload as determined by Clinical Director
  • Engage in consistent supervision from the Clinical Director
  • Assist with department initiatives as appropriate (e.g., professional learning, holiday assistance, student suicide prevention training, family nights, etc.)
  • Attend trainings, lectures, and courses as indicated, as part of professional development
  • Participate in performance quality improvement efforts that include but are not limited to timely and accurate completion of identified workflows and documentation measures outlined in the agency PQI plan and divisional goal plans
