About The Position

Arkansas Children's Behavioral Health, FT, M-F, 8a-5p Additional Information: The Clinical Therapist provides direct and indirect counseling and crisis support to clients and families seeking outpatient mental health services. The Clinical Therapist utilizes evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions to help clients manage symptoms related to their mood or behavioral condition. This role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care, and work under the clinical supervision of a terminally licensed mental health professional. The following are required: LPC or LCSW Masters Degree 2 years in Mental Health/Hospital Based Setting

Responsibilities

  • Completes clinical supervision and staffing to clinicians completing their required supervision hours for full licensure.
  • Demonstrates expertise in clinical therapy and evidence-based interventions, along with understanding of child maltreating reporting laws and processes.
  • Provide therapy services using best practices and adapt approaches as needed.
  • Perform diagnostic assessments that guide the treatment plan for individual, group, and/or family counseling services.
  • Complete Master Treatment Plans to guide therapeutic plan of care and periodic Treatment Plan Reviews at necessary frequency.
  • Complete clinical and administrative documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to address the whole health of the child or adolescent.
  • Attend clinical meetings, case presentations, or client staffings to ensure communication and collaboration among clinicians/providers.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Arkansas laws governing services to children, adolescent and adults preferred.
  • Other duties as assigned.
