About The Position

The VIAP Senior Program Manager will work closely with the VIAP Program Director and has the primary responsibility of managing all aspects of program administration and operation, staff planning, personnel management, data reporting, public relations and liaison with community resources and the public. Duties include managing data, maintaining VIAP office budgets, partners with the VIAP program director to function as a key liaison with public and private funding sources, regulatory agencies and relevant hospital programs. The Senior Program Manager also ensures the program’s participation in national organizations for hospital violence intervention to elevate VIAP’s work and support professional growth, development, and mentorship opportunities for staff. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years clinical experience working in an urban area with diverse populations and vulnerable clients
  • Minimum 5 years of program administration and staff management experience
  • Possess and maintain a current, valid Massachusetts driver's license and successfully complete a motor vehicle driving records check
  • Ability to work with persons of varying social, cultural and economic backgrounds
  • Proficient with standard Microsoft programs (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web browsers
  • Ability to communicate effectively in formal and oral presentations
