About The Position

The Senior Clinical Practice Integration Specialist plays a vital role in strengthening the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care across our system. This position supports the consistent application of clinical standards informed by licensing, accreditation, and credentialing requirements, and ensures that clinicians are fully trained in our care models, practice expectations, and documentation processes. Technology in this role is utilized to support accurate clinical documentation, strengthen treatment delivery, and maintain model fidelity while uncovering and maintaining partnerships to drive innovation in the direct care space. Working closely with Clinical Training, Program Development & Implementation, Quality, Research, and Executive Leadership, this position leads clinician onboarding, provides ongoing development for clinical and clinical-leadership roles, and supports the implementation of programs and practices that advance clinical excellence, patient experience, and organizational consistency.

  • Master’s degree preferred in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited program.
  • Equivalent experience will be considered, including candidates with a Bachelor’s degree combined with an advanced substance use disorder credential (e.g., SAC, CADC, LADC or equivalent) and significant clinical and practice-based experience in behavioral health settings.
  • Active clinical credential or license, or eligibility for credentialing/licensure as applicable to role scope, with the ability to meet organizational and state requirements.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in behavioral health clinical care, with demonstrated involvement in practice implementation, training, supervision, or quality improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of therapist workflow, clinical documentation standards, and minimum regulatory and licensing requirements, including substance use–related regulations, accreditation standards, and payer expectations.
  • Proven experience in clinical care delivery, training, and supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Training & Development Deliver comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training for direct-care clinicians, ensuring proficiency in treatment models, principles of care, and required clinical competencies.
  • Provide training that integrates evidence-based practices, regulatory standards, care pathways, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain and update training materials to reflect best practices, licensure standards, accreditation expectations, and organizational policies.
  • Offer re-training, consultation, and just-in-time training to strengthen clinician skill development and treatment fidelity and support coaching to standards.
  • Support training and development for clinical leaders (e.g., clinical supervisors, managers), focusing on model stewardship, team coaching, and oversight of clinical quality.
  • Support training and development for undergraduate interns/practicum students to support their development and exposure to behavioral health care.
  • Technology Utilization & Support Train clinicians on the practical use of clinical technologies that support documentation, workflow efficiency, patient engagement, and treatment delivery (e.g., EHR features, telehealth platforms, therapeutic tools).
  • Ensure staff understand how technology intersects with clinical models, documentation standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Provide frontline support and troubleshooting related to clinical technology use, escalating issues when needed.
  • Monitor the use of technology to identify training needs, skill gaps, and opportunities to enhance clinical efficiency or accuracy of documentation.
  • Program Development & Implementation Collaborate with clinical experts in program development and clinical teams to support the rollout of new or revised clinical programs, care pathways, and treatment protocols.
  • Assist in designing and implementing curricula and tools that enhance patient engagement, family involvement, and continuity of care.
  • Contribute to academic-support and enrichment programming for youth and adolescent programs, including school-avoidance interventions and creative summer programming options.
  • Align with organizational and external partners to ensure curriculum and program materials meet clinical, educational, and regulatory expectations.
  • Leadership & Change Management Serve as a change leader by supporting clinical teams through new program rollouts, documentation updates, practice improvements, and workflow changes.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical and operational leaders to ensure successful adoption of training initiatives and clinical standards.
  • Partner with site leadership to support census management, practice consistency, and local implementation timelines.
  • Encourage the effective and appropriate use of tools, technology, and processes that improve clinical outcomes and support high-quality care.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance direct clinical care with systems-level training, implementation, and change leadership responsibilities.
  • Direct Patient Care Deliver individual and/or group therapy, treatment planning, or other clinical services as needed based on program needs and scope of practice.
