Requirements

• Five years laboratory experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Science required.
• Current California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) within limitation to practice within the applicable section of the Laboratory.

Nice To Haves

• Registration with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform the complete scope of tests in the laboratory section to which assigned.
• Comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures.
• Seek guidance when in doubt and promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations.
• Assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation when requested.
• Assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.
