  • Strong frontend experience (Angular preferred; experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks required).
  • Strong backend development experience (Node.js, Python, or similar technologies).
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large relational data sets.
  • Experience designing data models and optimizing queries for performance.
  • Experience building enterprise-grade, business-critical applications.
  • Strong understanding of API design and system integrations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with integrating with portfolio planning systems (e.g., Planisware or similar platforms).
  • Experience working with clinical trial or regulated healthcare data.
  • AWS experience (Lambda, S3, RDS/PostgreSQL, event-driven architectures).
  • Experience working within Agile product teams.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and enhance a mission-critical portfolio planning application across frontend and backend layers.
  • Develop scalable APIs and services that process and surface large clinical and operational data sets.
  • Translate portfolio planning and clinical trial requirements into well-architected technical solutions.
  • Optimize performance and reliability for complex data queries and analytics-driven workflows.
  • Partner with portfolio strategy, clinical, and data teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical design.
  • Improve data modeling, system integrations, and reporting capabilities within the platform.
  • Ensure application quality through testing, monitoring, and sound engineering practices.
  • Proactively question and validate requirements to surface underlying assumptions, ensuring technical decisions are grounded in sound engineering principles.
  • Collaborate within an Agile environment to continuously improve the platform and its impact on the organization.
