A day in the life. As our Senior Client Manager on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you’ll track a large number of open issues, communicate thoroughly with clients and vendors to ensure a common understanding of each issue, where an issue stands at any given time, and ultimately how each issue is resolved. We will rely on you to secure and maintain current and up-to-date benefit plan documents including amendments, Summary Plan Descriptions, policies, etc. Additionally, you will help by consulting the sales team and keep them informed of significant concerns and client issues that may arise. Finally, you will help train newer Client Service Managers when requested by serving as a partner on assigned cases, and instructing on welfare benefit plan issues, the completion of proprietary materials, the fulfillment of job responsibilities, and achieving standards of performance

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with benefit plans is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of group insurance (medical, dental, vision, life and disability products).
  • Ability to use available resources to research regulatory issues and provide clear, concise and accurate information and guidance to clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or health services administration or equivalent preferred.
