We are looking for an Senior Client Executive - Public Entities to join our Commercial Lines team on a Hybrid work schedule. Overview: Assume ultimate responsibility for retaining existing Commercial Insurance accounts with a small production goal set by CSO. Responsible for servicing assigned and produced commercial insurance accounts. Account rounding and development of new business as appropriate and in accordance with the practices, policies and procedures of the Company.

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to travel to client visits, conferences as required and carrier meetings.
  • Ten years related experience in commercial insurance.
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
  • Producer’s license.
  • Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze commercial accounts for coverage, limits, etc, and make appropriate recommendations to clients.
  • Work with management in RFP/RFQ and new business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure that all service needs are met.
  • Coordination service, as appropriate, with Account Management assigned representative.
  • Coordinate with risk services, as needed.
  • Develop new business from existing accounts through account rounding for additional coverages if not purchased and refer business to EB & PL, if possible.
  • Handle the insurance procurement of assigned leads and contribute to meeting assigned production goals.
  • Coordinate ongoing service for existing accounts and assist Account Managers, as needed.
  • New business goal: $35,000 or number agreed and assigned by CSO.
  • Gather information from clients and prepare applications for submission to the Marketing Department regarding new and/or renewal coverage.
  • Review and present client proposals based on client’s needs, rates and coverages.
  • Assist in collecting premium from clients and arranging satisfactory financing, by cancelled coverage and review overdue balance reports and coordinate with the AM and Finance Department to keep clients’ payment status current.
  • Interface with company support staff and Marketing Department by meeting to review accounts helping to determine markets to be considered, set appointment dates, and renewal agreements timely and otherwise assist in the handling of efficient processing of business.
  • Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earnings implications of the Company.
  • Qualify and handle leads generated by the Company.
  • Keep informed of changes and trends within the industry for the purpose of anticipating and responding to profit objectives.
  • Participate in sales meetings and maintain production reports/CRM as required, significant coverage concerns, problems of all services and collections.
  • Identify, develop and qualify new prospects to meet new business goals.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.
