About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Professional Services team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York City or Chicago. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. In this Sr. Client Advisor role, you will develop an understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to help provide knowledge and advice to complex clients. You will build and maintain relationships with underwriters, and be involved in the placement of sophisticated insurance programs. Additionally, you will help identify the need for new products and develop innovative solutions for clients. You will be the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs, complete policy management activities, and deliver reviewed policies to clients while addressing client inquiries as necessary. You will also deliver technical expertise and take the lead role in presentations and RFPs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years industry experience
  • Financial and Professional liability experience a must
  • P&C license a must, or ability to obtain
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Independently oversee and manage large or complex accounts and bring the entire team together to formulate the procedure and go to market strategy.
  • Maintain a near complete understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to provide advice accordingly.
  • Utilize expert risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients' exposures and loss experience and develop solutions.
  • Present to prospective clients, identify the need for new products, and develop/suggest innovative solutions.
  • Oversee the production of client deliverables and ensure the quality of materials delivered to clients.
  • Engage in independent senior-level client interaction and demonstrate expertise in problem solving.
  • Develop strong working relations with carriers and underwriters, submit coverage specifications, obtain quotes, and ensure coverage is bound.
